We embark upon our adventure on May 1, 2027 at 6 pm. Following dinner, an introduction by the crew, a description of the diving the next day, we have a safety briefing and drill.

This is used to test weight buoyancy, check equipment functionality, and ensure everyone is comfortable. </li><li class="ui-30d40835-py-17 ui-30d40835-bg-gray-400 ui-30d40835-border-gray-400">Dive 2: Afternoon Practice Zodiac Dive: A dive at a nearby site to practice deploying from and climbing back into the rigid-hulled inflatable boats (Zodiacs). This skill is mandatory for safely navigating the heavy currents and open-ocean walls at the Brothers, Daedalus, and Elphinstone reefs later in the week. </li><li class="ui-30d40835-py-17 ui-30d40835-bg-gray-400 ui-30d40835-border-gray-400">Dive 3: Sunset or Night Dive: A final shallow dive near the coast or local reef before the boat anchors. This is highly valued because night diving is strictly illegal once inside the protected offshore National Marine Parks (Brothers and Daedalus). </li></ul>Following the third dive, the boat begins its 6 to 8-hour overnight navigation south across open water to reach Big Brother Island by the morning of Day 3

Day 3: Big Brother Island (Wrecks &amp; Walls - dives and dive site order dependent upon conditions/weather)<ul><li class="ui-30d40835-py-17 ui-30d40835-bg-gray-400 ui-30d40835-border-gray-400">Logistics: Wake up moored to the lee side of Big Brother, an isolated, 400-meter-long islet.</li><li class="ui-30d40835-py-17 ui-30d40835-bg-gray-400 ui-30d40835-border-gray-400">Dive 1 (The Numidia Wreck): A spectacular 1901 British cargo ship that ran aground on the northern tip. It rests vertically, starting at 8 meters and dropping past 80 meters. Divers target the engine room and deck frames covered in soft corals.</li><li class="ui-30d40835-py-17 ui-30d40835-bg-gray-400 ui-30d40835-border-gray-400">Dive 2 (The Aida II Wreck): A 1957 Egyptian military transport ship resting from 25 to 60 meters on the northwest wall. Strong currents require a rapid descent.</li><li class="ui-30d40835-py-17 ui-30d40835-bg-gray-400 ui-30d40835-border-gray-400">Dive 3 (The South Plateau): A deep drift along the wall to look for grey reef sharks, barracudas, and tuna.</li><li class="ui-30d40835-py-17 ui-30d40835-bg-gray-400 ui-30d40835-border-gray-400">Evening: The boat moves 1 kilometer south to anchor at Little Brother overnight. No night diving is allowed. </li></ul>Day 4: Little Brother Island (Pelagic Action)<ul><li class="ui-30d40835-py-17 ui-30d40835-bg-gray-400 ui-30d40835-border-gray-400">Logistics: The boat stays anchored next to this narrow coral pinnacle. Currents here can be strong and unpredictable.</li><li class="ui-30d40835-py-17 ui-30d40835-bg-gray-400 ui-30d40835-border-gray-400">Dives 1 &amp; 2 (North Point): Deep water drops to seek out large schools of hammerhead sharks or solitary thresher sharks circling the deeper cleaning stations.</li><li class="ui-30d40835-py-17 ui-30d40835-bg-gray-400 ui-30d40835-border-gray-400">Dive 3 (East Wall): A scenic drift over massive gorgonian fan forests and black coral trees. Designed with the modern diver in mind, this cabin offers approximately 100-120 square feet of well-appointed living space. Each standard cabin features two twin beds, independent climate control, and a private en-suite bathroom complete with a hot water shower.Please note:&nbsp;This is a shared accommodation. If you are a solo diver and wish to have the entire cabin to yourself, you are required to purchase both slots (the full double-occupancy rate) to secure a private room.

Day 2: Check-Out Dives &amp; The Ulong Area<ul><li class="ui-30d40835-py-17 ui-30d40835-bg-gray-400 ui-30d40835-border-gray-400">Morning:&nbsp;We begin the trip with a comprehensive check-out dive at a calm, sheltered site to check your weighting and ensure all gear is functioning properly.</li><li class="ui-30d40835-py-17 ui-30d40835-bg-gray-400 ui-30d40835-border-gray-400">Afternoon:&nbsp;The boat heads toward the Ulong area. We will dive stunning vertical drop-offs like&nbsp;Siaes Tunnel&nbsp;or&nbsp;Siaes Corner, featuring beautiful gorgonian fans, passing reef sharks, and vibrant macro life along the walls.</li></ul>

November 30

1st Diving Day

Day 3: Ulong Channel &amp; German Channel<ul><li class="ui-30d40835-py-17 ui-30d40835-bg-gray-400 ui-30d40835-border-gray-400">Morning:&nbsp;We hook in at&nbsp;Ulong Channel, widely considered one of the greatest drift dives on the planet. You’ll fly over a massive lettuce coral formation while keeping an eye out for hunting trevally and reef sharks.</li><li class="ui-30d40835-py-17 ui-30d40835-bg-gray-400 ui-30d40835-border-gray-400">Afternoon:&nbsp;We move to&nbsp;German Channel, an artificial channel created during WWII that is now a famous manta ray cleaning station. We’ll hang out in the sand and watch for feeding and cleaning mantas, as well as resting leopard sharks.</li></ul>

December 1

2nd Diving Day

Day 4: The Adrenaline of Blue Corner<ul><li class="ui-30d40835-py-17 ui-30d40835-bg-gray-400 ui-30d40835-border-gray-400">All Day:&nbsp;Today we focus on the Ngemelis area, home to the legendary&nbsp;Blue Corner. You will deploy your reef hook at the plateau's edge and hang suspended in the current as the ocean puts on a show. Expect a wall of grey reef sharks, massive schools of jacks and barracuda, eagle rays, and friendly Napoleon wrasse. We will dive this area multiple times to catch it on different tides.</li></ul>

3rd Diving Day

Day 5: The Walls of Peleliu<ul><li class="ui-30d40835-py-17 ui-30d40835-bg-gray-400 ui-30d40835-border-gray-400">All Day:&nbsp;The&nbsp;Palau Siren&nbsp;cruises south to the island of Peleliu. Famous for its WWII history, it is equally famous for deep, sheer drop-offs and ripping currents. We will dive&nbsp;Peleliu Wall&nbsp;and&nbsp;Peleliu Express, looking out into the blue for apex predators, large tuna, and passing pelagics.</li></ul>

December 3

4th Diving Day

Day 6: Jellyfish Lake &amp; Final Reef Dives<ul><li class="ui-30d40835-py-17 ui-30d40835-bg-gray-400 ui-30d40835-border-gray-400">Morning:&nbsp;We head back toward the Rock Islands to hit any iconic sites we missed or repeat a favorite drift dive.</li><li class="ui-30d40835-py-17 ui-30d40835-bg-gray-400 ui-30d40835-border-gray-400">Afternoon:&nbsp;Time to leave the scuba tanks behind! We will take a land excursion into the Rock Islands to snorkel the surreal&nbsp;Jellyfish Lake. Isolated from the ocean for millennia, millions of golden medusas have lost their ability to sting. Snorkeling through this dense, pulsating golden cloud is an otherworldly, once-in-a-lifetime experience.</li></ul>

December 4

5th Diving Day

Day 7: WWII Wreck Diving &amp; Off-Gassing<ul><li class="ui-30d40835-py-17 ui-30d40835-bg-gray-400 ui-30d40835-border-gray-400">Morning:&nbsp;You will enjoy your final two dives of the trip close to Koror before the 24-hour no-fly countdown begins. These are typically fascinating WWII wrecks, such as the&nbsp;Iro Maru&nbsp;or the&nbsp;Chuyo Maru, which sit upright and are draped in black corals and teeming with life. We may also explore the multi-chambered air pockets of&nbsp;Chandelier Cave.</li><li class="ui-30d40835-py-17 ui-30d40835-bg-gray-400 ui-30d40835-border-gray-400">Afternoon/Evening:&nbsp;Wash and hang your gear to dry. Spend the afternoon relaxing on the sun deck, settling your onboard tabs, and enjoying a farewell dinner with the crew and your fellow divers.</li></ul>

6th Diving Day

<ul><li class="ui-30d40835-py-17 ui-30d40835-bg-gray-400 ui-30d40835-border-gray-400">Morning:&nbsp;Following breakfast, disembarkation begins around 8:00 AM. The crew will arrange your transfers to your Koror hotel or the airport for your onward journey.</li></ul>

December 6

Getting to Palau (Roman Tmetuchl International Airport - ROR) from the United States is an adventure in itself! From San Francisco (SFO), the most streamlined and popular route is flying with&nbsp;United Airlines, which typically connects through Honolulu (HNL) and Guam (GUM) before the final short island-hop into Koror. Alternatively, you can route through Asia by flying&nbsp;China Airlines&nbsp;with a layover in Taipei (TPE). Because Palau sits across the International Date Line, you will "lose" a calendar day while flying west. To ensure you arrive in Koror safely in time for our November 29, 2027 embarkation—and to give yourself a highly recommended buffer day to rest and adjust to the time zone—you should plan to depart SFO no later than&nbsp;Friday, November 26 or Saturday, November 27, 2027. This will have you touching down in paradise on November 28, refreshed and ready to board the&nbsp;Palau Siren&nbsp;the following day!

Getting to Palau

Master Liveaboards (via the&nbsp;Palau Siren) generally provides embarkation day pick-up from&nbsp;any major hotel located in the Koror or Malakal area, as well as direct pick-ups from the airport if your flight arrives on the day of embarkation. Because the&nbsp;Palau Siren&nbsp;usually operates out of the Malakal harbor area (often near Sam's Tours), staying on Malakal Island is incredibly convenient.Here are three excellent, diver-friendly hotel recommendations across different price points if you wish to arrive early:1. To ensure the safety and enjoyment of all our guests, Master Liveaboards has established specific requirements for diving the challenging, current-swept waters of Palau. All divers booking this trip must hold an&nbsp;Advanced Open Water (AOW)&nbsp;certification (or equivalent) and have a minimum of&nbsp;50 logged dives&nbsp;prior to embarkation. Additionally, because of the remote nature of this expedition, both comprehensive&nbsp;travel insurance&nbsp;and specialized&nbsp;dive medical insurance&nbsp;(covering emergency medical evacuation and hyperbaric treatments, such as DAN or DiveAssure) are strictly mandatory. Proof of certification, logged dives, and active insurance policies will be required by the crew before you can board the&nbsp;Palau Siren.
